Overland from Melbourne to Freiburg

In 2014 Eva Rugel and her family left Melbourne to return to their home town of Freiburg in Germany. The overland journey took them a year, passing through

25 countries. All along the way Eva photographed the people and places they encountered and sent hundreds of postcards to friends.

Take part in Eva’s WORLD MOMENTS expedition through photographs, posters

and a curtain installation composed of the postcards she sent. Walk the journey on her floor-map and live the experience in the pages of her book and postcard collections.
